Vidonna turns a written prompt, and optionally a photo you choose, into a short AI-generated video. This page explains, plainly, what data that requires and where it goes.
Vidonna does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number. On first launch, the app creates an anonymous account for your device via our backend provider, Supabase, identified only by a randomly generated ID. That ID — not you personally — is what our systems recognize.
If you delete and reinstall the app on the same device, this ID is restored from the device Keychain, so your credit balance and history carry over. A factory-reset device or a different device starts fresh.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your prompts or photos for any purpose other than generating the video you asked for.
Each prompt you submit is sent to Replicate to run the video-generation model. Replicate may route the request to the company that operates that model (ByteDance for the Fast and Ultra tiers, Alibaba for Premium) and returns the result to the app. If you add a photo, it is sent once, with your request, in the same way; we do not save it in our database and we do not use it for advertising.
Replicate's documentation states that inputs and outputs of API requests are deleted after about an hour. We cannot tell how long the model companies keep data; their own policies apply. We do not use your prompts or photos to train any model of ours.
Add only photos you have the right to use and, where other people are recognizable, only with their permission. Do not create content that impersonates, deceives or harms someone, and please do not upload photos of children. Avoid prompts that include other people's personal information.
Credit packs and subscriptions are purchased through Apple's In‑App Purchase system. We never see your payment details — Apple handles billing directly. Purchase confirmations are relayed to our subscription platform, RevenueCat, solely to unlock the credits or plan you paid for.
Each operates under its own privacy policy governing the data it processes on our behalf.
Generation records and credit history are kept for as long as your anonymous account is active, so your balance and past videos remain available to you. We do not store photos. Replicate's documentation states that request inputs and outputs are removed after about an hour; the model companies' retention is governed by their own policies. To request deletion of your account data, email us at the address below with your anonymous user ID (visible on request from within the app) — we'll erase it within 30 days.
Vidonna is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Please do not upload photos of children. Because sign-in is anonymous by design, we have no way to verify age; if you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the associated anonymous account.
If this policy changes materially, the "Effective" date above will update and, where required, we'll notify you in-app before the change takes effect.
